Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) will host a job fair to recruit registered nurses and licensed practical nurses for several open positions on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the company's headquarters, 500 Exchange Street, Providence. The original date had been cancelled due to a snow storm.
BCBSRI is looking to fill several full-time positions as part of its ongoing efforts to improve the quality of healthcare delivered across the state. These openings, which include nurse reviewers and care coordinators, offer an opportunity for nurses with at least three to five years of clinical experience to provide a positive impact on the health and well being of many BCBSRI members.
Some of the responsibilities for these positions include enrolling members into health management programs, creating and implementing personalized plans of care, and empowering members to make more informed decisions regarding their healthcare.
In addition to the personal gratification associated with caring about the health of others as a nurse, BCBSRI offers a comprehensive benefits package, competitive salary, sign-on bonuses, and flexible work schedules.
Interested nurses are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and prepare for on-site interviews with recruiters and hiring managers at the job fair or to visit www.bcbsri.com to apply for a position.
BCBSRI is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
