Carrie Feliz

Director of Strategic Community Partnerships for the Providence Public School Department

As the Director of Strategic Community Partnerships for the Providence Public School Department, Ms. Feliz specializes in creating mutually beneficial relationships and strengthening community well-being. Her widespread background in public policy, population health, and community development includes her experience at the Rhode Island Department of Health, as a member of the steering committee on Health Care Access and Finance for the National Academy of State Health Policy, and as a Public Health Prevention Service fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Currently, she is a member of the Women's Health Council of Rhode Island and a former Board member of Young Voices, a Rhode Island-based nonprofit that transforms urban youth into powerful advocates. Ms. Feliz received her Bachelor’s degree from Duke University and a Master's in Public Health from Boston University. She was elected to the Blue Cross Board of Directors in November 2013.
