Dr. Lange is a pediatrician with Coastal Medical, Inc.—Rhode Island’s largest private group practice—where she is a member of the board of managers. Dr. Lange practices from Coastal Medical/Waterman Pediatrics in East Providence and is on the medical staffs of Women & Infants Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital. In 2006, Dr. Lange founded the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Pediatric Council.

An active member of the Rhode Island healthcare community, Dr. Lange serves on the Rhode Island Benefits Exchange Expert Advisory Committee, Rhode Island Healthcare Reform Commission (Member, Payment Reform Work Group), and the Lieutenant Governor’s Clinicians Leadership Council. Among her many recognitions, Dr. Lange received the 2011 John H. Chafee Leadership in Healthcare Award from the American Heart Association.

Dr. Lange serves as secretary of the Rhode Island Medical Society and is immediate past president of the Rhode Island chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She also holds membership in the American College of Physician Executives and is a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Brown Medical School. Dr. Lange is a member of the board of directors of the Providence Children’s Museum and the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine Alumni Society, where she earned her medical degree. She received her undergraduate degree from Smith College. Dr. Lange was elected to the Blue Cross Board of Directors in March 2012.
