Dr. Licht has been a practicing primary care physician for 18 years and is currently with University Medicine, a multi-specialty medical group with practices located in Providence and surrounding communities, where he serves on the Electronic Health Record Template and Audit committees. Dr. Licht is on staff at The Miriam Hospital and is a member of its Independent Practice Association, a physician advocacy organization. He also is co-chair of the Membership and Credentialing Committee for the New England Physician Alliance. A member of the American College of Physicians and the Rhode Island Medical Society, Dr. Licht earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and received an undergraduate degree from The University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Licht was elected to the Blue Cross Board of Directors in March 2012.
