Dr. Lange is a pediatrician with Coastal Medical, Inc., Rhode Island’s largest private group practice. She practices from Coastal Medical/Waterman Pediatrics in East Providence and is on the medical staffs of Women & Infants Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Dr. Lange founded the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Pediatric Council and is cofounder of PCMH-Kids.
An active member of the Rhode Island healthcare community, Dr. Lange has served on numerous statewide healthcare reform committees and commissions. Among her many recognitions, Dr. Lange received the 2011 John H. Chafee Leadership in Healthcare Award from the American Heart Association.
Dr. Lange served as past secretary of the Rhode Island Medical Society and is past president of the Rhode Island chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Brown Medical School. In addition, Dr. Lange is a member of the board of directors of Rhode Island KIDS COUNT, the Providence Children’s Museum, the Providence Singers, and the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine Alumni Society, where she earned her medical degree. She received her undergraduate degree from Smith College. Dr. Lange was elected to the Blue Cross Board of Directors in March 2012.
