Account Level Reporting Available on bcbsri.com

Based on your feedback, the employer reporting available to you upon signing in to the bcbsri.com Broker portal has recently been streamlined to be much easier to use. You will now only see active accounts listed that have reports available for viewing.

As a reminder, updated reports are released on the first of every month (except quarterly reports, released on the first day of every quarter). Reports are available to you in a printer-friendly PDF format.

The following reports are available for viewing:

  • Analytical Account Profile (quarterly) - For accounts with 100 or more subscribers. This report provides a comprehensive overview of an account’s demographic, utilization, and financial trends. For each area it includes per member/per month analysis, cost distributions, diagnostic categorizations, high-cost members, and hospital and physician utilization measures.
  • Summarized Account Profile (quarterly) - For accounts with 51 to 99 subscribers. This report provides an overview of the account’s demographic, financial, and utilization trends.
  • Core Reporting Suite - Monthly report for accounts with 100 or more subscribers. This is a collection of five reports, including Incurred Claims, Paid Claims, Contracts by Tier, Age/Gender Distribution, and a High-Cost Claimant report (over $50,000). These reports are summarized at the account and group levels. Note:Due to HIPAA regulations, this report is not provided if an account has less than five high-cost members.
  • Product Reporting Suite - Monthly report for accounts with 100 or more subscribers. This is a collection of four reports, including Incurred Claims, Paid Claims, Contracts by Tier, and Age/Gender Distribution. These reports are summarized at the account and product levels.
  • Deductible Report - Monthly report for accounts with 50 or more subscribers. This report shows an account’s contracts’ progress toward satisfying their deductible limits within their current accrual window. It also includes benchmark comparisons to all other accounts offering similar product designs. A summary page includes final contract counts for all deductible products and non-deductible products so accounts can view product distribution.
  • Loss Ratio Reporting - Monthly report for fully insured accounts with 100 or more subscribers (This report isn’t created for self-funded accounts.) This report details a claim summary with loss ratios at the account, group, and product levels.
  • Pharmacy Reporting Suite - Monthly report for accounts with 100 or more subscribers. This report details pharmacy utilization, including information on generic, retail, and mail order usage and cost information. Specialty, brand, and generic drug analyses are also included.
  • Dental Reporting Suite - Monthly report for accounts with 400 or more subscribers. This report details dental claims utilization at the account, group, and product levels.
