Blue Cross's Grievances and Appeals Unit is here to provide a thorough, timely, and unbiased review of complaints and administrative and medical appeals. The purpose of this process is to ensure that benefits are administered equitably (fairly and equally) according to member contracts, regulatory mandates, accrediting standards, and Blue Cross policies. This process will ensure that objective, equitable outcomes are achieved.
