Are there any discount programs at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island to help me save money with local vendors?

Is alternative medicine, such as acupuncture, a covered benefit?

Acupuncture is the ancient art of insertion of very fine needles into the body surface, in order to influence physiological functioning of the body. As of April 1, 2000, the State of Rhode Island legislature requires all health insurers to offer an optional acupuncture rider for commercial group accounts.
