CVS Caremark Mail Service Pharmacy
The CVS Caremark Mail Service Pharmacy is specifically designed for people who take prescription medications on a regular basis for long periods of time.
With CVS Caremark Mail Service Pharmacy, you can:
- Receive up to a 90-day supply of medicine at a time.
- Enjoy the convenience of having your medicine delivered to a location of your choice, such as your home, office, or vacation spot.
- Speak to a registered pharmacist 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Order prescriptions and online. (Select "Pharmacy" on the left-hand side of your member homepage, and follow the prompts.)
Getting Started
- Get a written prescription from your doctor for a 90-day supply of medication, plus refills. (If you need your prescription filled right away, also get a prescription for a short-term supply that you can fill at a local participating pharmacy.)
- Fill out the Mail Service Order Form.
- Mail the original prescription (not a copy) and your completed Mail Service Order Form to:

Allow up to 14 days to receive your medication. If you need medication right away, ask your doctor for a separate prescription for a 30-day supply that you can fill at a local pharmacy. Then you will have enough medication to last until you receive your supply from CVS Caremark Mail Service Pharmacy.
Three Ways to Refill
- Online: Log on to BCBSRI.com and click on Pharmacy on the left-hand side of your member homepage, then follow the prompts. Register online to receive refill reminders, informative newsletters, and other important alerts. Have your BCBSRI member ID card handy to register.
- Phone: Call 1-888-648-9621 (Medicare Part D) or 1-866-329-3053 (all others) for the fully automated refill service. Have your BCBSRI member ID card ready.
- Mail: You will receive an order form with every prescription order. Simply fill in the ovals for the prescriptions you want to refill. If you need to refill a medication that is not listed, write in the prescription number(s) in the space provided. Enclose your payment (if your plan requires a payment) and send the order form to CVS Caremark.
Please allow up to 14 days to receive your prescription refill.
