What is DenteMax?

DenteMAX is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dental Network of America (DNoA). DenteMAX currently provides a national dental network to 16 other Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, covering 23 service areas.

How can my employees determine if their current dentists participate in the DenteMax network?

This information is available through the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island website at www.BCBSRI.com.

If my employee’s dentist is not part of the DenteMax network, how can the dentist join?

The member can call our Customer Service Department with the dentist’s name, address, and telephone number, and the Customer Service representative will forward that information to DenteMax. DenteMax will then contact the dentist for recruitment. The member then has the option of selecting a new dentist who participates with DenteMax, or continuing with their existing dentist, although the dentist may now charge more than our allowance and require the member to pay the balance.
