The Silver&Fit program returns to BCBSRI

Good news, BCBSRI members!

We’re bringing back the Silver&Fit® program. Earlier this year, BCBSRI offered fitness benefits through another company. For several reasons, including feedback about the benefits you liked, we have decided to make the best decision for our members. So you will once again have access to Silver&Fit benefits like $0 fitness center memberships and a home fitness kit.

As of June 1, 2025, you will be able to register with the Silver&Fit program and enjoy benefits like:

  • Access to more than 16,000 fitness centers nationally, including more than 60 local facilities*
  • A home fitness kit
  • On-demand workout videos
  • One-on-one well-being coaching sessions by phone, video, or chat

How to register

To join a participating Silver&Fit fitness center, you will need to register on SilverandFit.com. Registration opens on June 1, 2025.

Then follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Fitness Centers tab to search for participating locations that meet your needs.
  2. Select the fitness center you want.
  3. Complete your enrollment online and download or print your Silver&Fit card, which includes your fitness ID number, and present it to your chosen fitness center.

If you have questions, starting May 22, 2025, you can call Silver&Fit at 888-797-8059 (TTY/TDD: 711) Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Eastern).

We understand that this change can cause inconvenience, but we truly do think you will enjoy the Silver&Fit experience.

FitOn will no longer be available as of May 31, 2025.

As of June 1, 2025, your Silver&Fit benefits will become active.

**Purchase of some compatible wearable fitness trackers or apps may be required to use the Connected! tool and are not reimbursable by the Silver&Fit program.
