BCBSRI would like to inform providers of an upcoming change in coverage for the medications listed below.

Effective October 1, 2026, coverage for the following drugs will transition from the pharmacy benefit to the medical benefit and will require prior authorization under the medical benefit:

• Signifor LAR
• Aralast NP
• Glassia
• Prolastin-C
• Zemaira

Medical prior authorization requests for these medications should be submitted through GatewayPA at GatewayPA.
