Can I change my plan?

The simple answer is yes. But you’re only able to switch the plan you’re in at certain times. The Open Enrollment Period, which generally begins November 1 each year, is when anyone can make changes to their coverage for it to be effective on January 1 of the next year.

There are some cases when you can change your coverage outside of the Open Enrollment Period, like if you get married or have a baby. See if you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period.
