Effective May 1, 2026, InStride Health is now a nationally contracted provider within the BCBSRI network. As a result, InStride may provide services to BCBSRI members regardless of the member’s state of residence, expanding access to care beyond Rhode Island.

InStride Health is a virtual behavioral health solution focused on the treatment of anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) through a structured, evidence-based model of care. Services include intensive, exposure-based therapy (including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention), individual and family therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management as clinically appropriate, and care coordination with coaching support to reinforce treatment between sessions. Care is delivered through a multidisciplinary, team-based approach designed to provide a higher level of support than traditional outpatient care while allowing members to remain in their home and community. InStride serves children, adolescents, and young adults, ages seven-22, and is available to commercial members.
