This policy was updated on April 13, 2022. Effective for dates of service on or after July 1, 2022, BCBSRI will require drugs for all claims to be filed with both a valid HCPCS/CPT code and appropriate National Drug code (NDC). Pricing will be determined off the HCPCS/CPT code and the unit of measure shall be the HCPCS/CPT code. Please refer to the payment policy for additional details here.
