As a reminder, in November 2018, our system was updated to allow claims to pull a referral by the provider’s TAX ID. If a member has a referral on file for one of the providers in your office, that referral is valid for all of the providers in your office with the same TAX ID. The specialist office will not need multiple referrals from the PCP’s office if the member is seeing multiple providers.
