BCBSRI has temporarily waived the referral requirement for all plans for claims with a date of service from January 15, 2025 through February 21, 2025 due to some offices experiencing technical difficulties. 

PCPs can continue to enter referrals for any dates of service after February 21, 2025. If you have any questions or need further clarification regarding this change, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
