1/1/2024 Updates

  • Effective January 1, 2024, Mental Health Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapist will be allowed to render services to Medicare members. 
  • We are removing the referral requirement for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, for Medicare Advantage and Commercial Plans. Referrals will no longer be required for these two specialties as of January 1, 2024.
  • We are removing the referral requirement for Speech Therapy for Medicare Advantage only effective January 1, 2024.
  • Access Product – Access Product will now be open to Prospect PCP’s. 
  • Eye Med
    • If a provider is participating with Eye Med, the provider will file their hardware claim to Eye Med for reimbursement. 
    • If a provider is non-participating with Eye Med, the member will need to file their hardware claim to Eye Med.
