As a reminder, Advance Notices of Noncoverage (ANN) are not recognized for Medicare Advantage Plans. Providers are not allowed to have members sign a self-pay agreement or waiver prior to receiving services. A pre-service organization determination on behalf of a member is needed. To obtain a pre-service organization determination, contact the Health Services Management Department at (401) 272-5670, extension 3012, or fax your request to (401) 272-8885.
