The Temporary Telemedicine Telehealth and Telephone Services During the COVID-19 Crisis policy, effective March 18, 2020, has been extended to December 31, 2020. However, there are now four self-funded groups that have opted out to waive member cost share. Effective October 15, 2020, if your office renders services to a patient that is employed with one the referenced groups, member cost share will be applied, and your office will be allowed to bill the member their contractual member cost share for the services you provide.
