Upcoming Portfolio Updates for January 2026 in the Individual Market

Effective January 1, 2026, we are making the following changes:

• New Plan Offering: We are introducing a new plan, BlueCHiP Direct 7000/14000. This plan will be available to members who purchase directly from BCBSRI and on HealthSource RI.
• Plan Discontinuation: We will be discontinuing the BasicBlue Direct 5500/11000 plan. Members currently enrolled in this plan will be automatically transitioned to the VantageBlue Direct 6000/12000 plan in January 2026.
