Blue across Rhode Island - Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island's company-wide day of volunteer service - is back for year four! As an important friend in our community, we invite your organization to submit a project proposal to partner with us on October 2, 2015 in support of our commitment to create a healthier Rhode Island!
It’s a volunteer initiative that channels the collective spirit and enthusiasm of Blue Cross employees to help our nonprofit partners around the state. Last year alone, over 700 Blue Cross employees donated over 3,500 hours of service to help build playgrounds, perform landscaping, paint buildings, and much more. In conjunction with volunteers, project sites will receive $5,000 in financial support from BCBSRI to complete each project.
Join us for breakfast at an informational meeting on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at our headquarters in downtown Providence.
During this meeting, staff from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island will:
