Daily Living Assistance with Papa Pals

BCBSRI Medicare Advantage members can receive up to 60 hours each year for help with everyday tasks like grocery shopping, running errands, companionship and more with Papa Pals. They can even get help with how to use computers, tablets, smart phones, social media, telemedicine, and video calls!

Lucy, a Papa Pals member, had this to say about their experience:

“This visit went very well. I needed some help to show me how to get registered for the COVID-19 vaccine. Since I am not tech savvy it was difficult for me to do so. I was able to get registered and maybe next week I will be able to get it. May also helped me with my tablet. I really appreciate her help with that because I couldn’t seem to get it done myself. She also helped me figure out what was wrong with my blood pressure machine. What I liked most was that she was able to really help me have a full understanding, she was patient and very knowledgeable which I am really was grateful for. I would like to have her back again for some more help around my home. I am 85 years old so this help is wonderful and I love the Papa service.”
