Official Rules for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) social media giveaways

The following rules apply with respect to BCBSRI's social media platform giveaways:

• No purchase is necessary. Every individual who submits an entry will be entered into the raffle being conducted at that time. Entries that do not include the name of the entrant will be disqualified.
• To be eligible to win, you must submit an entry by posting within BCBSRI's social media platform page or one of its associated groups in response to the post indicating a giveaway, during the dates indicated in the social media post. You need not be present to win. Employees of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island and their immediate family members are not eligible.
• Must be a Rhode Island resident and 18 years of age or older to enter. BCBSRI reserves the right (but shall not be obligated) to independently verify entrant age and may disqualify any entrant if it is unable to obtain verification which is satisfactory to BCBSRI, in its sole discretion.
• By submitting an entry, you agree to allow your name to be announced and available to the general public and your post content to be shared on BCBSRI's social media platform(s).
• BCBSRI is not responsible for issues that are out of its control, including but not limited to, lost or misdirected mail, and internet connectivity or access to social media platforms.
• Winner(s) are selected at random. The odds of winning the raffle cannot be calculated because the odds depend on the number of entries received.
• The winner will be announced within the BCBSRI social media platform where it was posted. The winner will be contacted by direct message to request a mailing address. Prizes will be mailed.
• Prizes consist of gift cards as indicated on the page/original post describing the giveaway. The value of the prizes may be taxable to the winners as income. Upon receipt of any prize, each winner is required to comply with any and all applicable federal, state and local tax that becomes due with respect to the prize.
• By entering, participants acknowledge compliance with these official rules including all eligibility requirements.
• All prizes will be awarded, unless they are unclaimed by a winner or are otherwise undeliverable. Prizes that are not claimed will not be awarded.
• All interpretations of the rules and decisions by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island are final.
• This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook. Entrants release and waive any claims they may have against Facebook, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, its officers, trustees, and any employees or agents of such entities who will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against any liability for any and all injuries, claims, damages of any kind, including death to persons, damage to property, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind (including without limitation attorney's fees) resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize or element thereof, or participation in this contest.
