In late 2023, it was announced that after the PHE ended for Medicare effective 12/31/2023, Telemedicine services for Medicare members would begin requiring their in-office copay for services rendered on or after 1/1/2024. Unfortunately, this was incorrect information, and we are updating our Telemedicine Payment Policy to reflect the correct information. 

The correct benefit information is as follows:

• Medicare members who see their PCP or Behavioral Health Specialist for Telemedicine, the member will have a $0 copay. 
• Medicare members who see providers for Telemedicine services not related to their PCP or Behavioral Health services, their in-office copay will apply.
