High blood pressure, or hypertension, is one of the most common conditions found in adults. Since high blood pressure often goes unnoticed, it has become known as the silent killer, making it important to check this vital regularly. If left uncontrolled and untreated, it can result in serious health problems such as heart attacks, strokes, or kidney failure. The BCBSRI blood pressure screening will show individuals how to easily check their blood pressure levels and find out what steps they can take to keep it under control.
No registration for the BCBSRI blood pressure screening event is required.
